Holzknechtmuseum in Trübenbach
Description
Far away in the ditch is a former school with a single classroom. Until the 1970s, the children of woodcutters went to school here. The furnishings and exhibits are still reminiscent of this time. Almost everything is still there. This includes the lovingly designed lumberjack museum in the barn, which uses original tools to tell the story of the life and work of the lumberjacks in the densely wooded area around the Ötscher.
Tip: Combine your visit with a snack at the "Alte Schule" inn and hike to Trefflingfall. Or take the panoramic road to the Sulzbichl adventure village.
